Bridal Fair and Events Galore: April

Here we go again with our run down of events... This is becoming like a habit for me every month. And now that I learned that I can actually update the date when posts are published, posts for events and fairs will be brought up everytime I update them (kewl, isn't it... sorry, not much of blog geek, but i dont blame if I become one. This could be addicting (0_o) )

Summer has officially begun, and with this, we have Summer sale schedules, GFTs, and of course, bridal fairs. So get that workout for the big by going to these events.

April 1 - 3

Homeworld Warehouse Sale, Megatrade 1-3

A wide selection of furniture, home decor, and other home things are offered on sale during this 3-day event at the Megatrade Hall. From designer sofa set to a some good sets of china to linens. Whether you are shopping for your own home or looking for wedding gift ideas, you'll surely find something fancy for your eyes, and easy on your pockets. 

When they had this event last September, they offered as low as 50% off on great selections. So, I guess they'll give that much discount this time as well. Make sure you bring and present your SM Advantage card.. who knows, you might get more points, or freebies, or better yet, more discounts. April 2 - 3
Weddings at The Peninsula, Rigodon Ballroom, The Conservatory and The Lobby, The Peninsula Manila

Highlights: In celebration of 35 years of elegant weddings, The Peninsula Manila is hosting a bridal fair right in their halls. Find fresh ideas from and inspiration from Manila's top of the line floral, jewelry, photography, bridal gown, cakes and confections, invitations, and favor suppliers, and sought-after honeymoon destinations. You can also get consultations from wedding professionals participating in this 2-day event. There will also be a bridal fashion show at The Lobby on 2 April at 630pm, showcasing new creations of the industry's top designers.

Hizon's Grand Food Tasting, La Castellana, Intramuros, 11AM - 4PM

Highlights: free food tasting, inquiry and quotation request, discounts for onsite booking from Hizon's, La Castellana, and other suppliers joining the event. First 150 couples book on-site also get freebies from Hizon's.

3rd Mega Summer Expo, Megatrade Hall 1-3

A yearly summer event organized by Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall in partnership with MCT Events Management, every beach and summer buff shouldn't miss.

On its third year, Mega Summer Expo is the one-stop shop event of all for summer getaways and destinations, summer fashion and lifestyle, summer fun-filled activities and grand summer sales where shoppers can avail of bog discounts in all participating products and services. It also features summer activities for families and for the working class through sponsors and partners.

April 15 - 17

Princess and Brides 2011, Megatrade Hall 1 .

According to wedding coordinators-organizer Events Unlimited, this yearly event "is a one-stop wedding and debut exhibit showcasing everything from gowns and venues for the blushing bride or the debutante... It had drawn remarkable attendance since it was first launched."

Their website doesn't say anything about their exhibitors, or any activities, but by the looks of their poster, I'm guessing there will be free tasting from their official mobile bar, and probably a nice line-up of exhibitors. Raffle prizes and freebies will also be given away by over 150 exhibitors when you book or purchase on-site. Events Unlimited will also be giving discounted wedding coordination and mobile bar package for online and onsite guests.

I am sure, I will need to update this post once in a while, when I get those invites from Hizon's Catering and when I see posters or ads on magazines, roads, or simply anywhere. I really I get some loot for these. :p
